Genera wasn’t dreamed up in a boardroom. It started inside a real dog daycare — ours.

A few years ago, we built a custom system for Duncan’s Dog Co., our 5-star licensed woodland daycare in Surrey. At first, it was just for us — a way to handle the constant admin that came with running a busy site.Bookings. Payments. Staff rotas. Records. Compliance. All of it in one place.

Over time, we added more as our business grew and the industry evolved. What started as a quick fix turned into something powerful. We realised if it worked for us, it could work for others too.

That’s why we decided to make Genera available to everyone. It’s completely free, because the more people who use it, the better we can make it for everyone.
